Austrian Theory boasts the stand-out form having finished third in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood in July but he was behind Mr Mccann in the Superlative Stakes earlier and it’s not hard to imagine that one of their less-exposed rivals will improve past that pair. Merlin's Lady, Berkshire Rebel and GOLDSPUR all made winning debuts with the latter the most visually impressive at Sandown - he might be the one to beat.
