ALDBOURNE made his handicap bow in a much tougher race at Goodwood and would have finished closer if not for being hampered in the closing stages. He gets the nod at this lower level with normal luck in-running. Single Minded finished in front of Mezzanotte when narrowly beaten over a longer trip on the all-weather while Hollow Steel’s earlier double came over shorter trips.
