Highland Shot is a big, strong filly who is progressing really well and Andrew Balding's charge is taken to follow-up her recent win on the polytrack surface at Lingfield. She landed a few bets in convincing fashion that day, and had already proved she is equally effective on turf, most notably when second on her reappearance in a fillies' handicap at Ascot. Well suited by today's weights, she gets a confident vote under Martin Dwyer. Lara Falana has been in good form this season and is another who should go well at these weights, while Arpeggio is fit from a reasonably successful all-weather campaign and is well treated on his best form. Castaway Queen, runner-up in a fair handicap at Bath last September and with Darryll Holland booked, would have a chance on that form but may just lack a fitness edge against these rivals.
