        Verdict

        COUL KAT may have run seven times in his first season but he never stopped improving. He’s gone up 4lb since scoring at Pontefract on his final start but seems sure to give a good account again if fully wound up. Il Bandito has been gelded since getting off the mark at Newcastle in October while Lingfield winner Dejame Paso is another likely to continue on an upward curve this season. Year Of The Dragon, Patient Dream and Never Say When also warrant a mention.
