RECON MISSION won this last year from stall three, which he has again. He also scored over 6f here in August and is surprisingly 1lb lower than both of those victories. Mokaatil is 2-3 here and won a Class 2 handicap at Musselburgh from 4lb lower in August and Just That Lord has also won here and the faster the ground the better. The veteran Ornate was winning off an 18lb higher mark just over a year ago and retains his speed but Newyorkstateofmind usually needs his first run back, though holds Electric Love on their run at Wolverhampton in October. Dark Shot is 8lb higher than when completing a hat-trick on soft ground at Catterick the same month but was second in this in 2019 and also last year.
