      Verdict

      REGAL SALUTE looked a filly on the up when scoring easily at Windsor last month. The handicapper took notice and raised her 10lb, but Jeremy Noseda's progressive charge is worth sticking with here. Uptown Guy continues to improve and won at Thirsk last time, though there's been cut in the ground for both his wins, while Iulus and Shalloon landed their respective maidens in good style and now have to prove themselves in handicap company. Weapon Of Choice is proving inconsistent and Isingy Red needs to improve, but John Biscuit won his maiden here last year and showed signs of a return to form at Sandown recently.
