        Verdict

        Magic City had a below par Restaurateur behind when third at Chester last time having won at Goodwood before that. He looks sure to make another bold bid as this looks less competitive. But SPIRIT OF SHARJAH proved his liking for this track once again when third over course and distance a fortnight ago and Julia Feilden's charge may have the edge in this with Shelley Birkett's 7lb allowance in his favour. Rocky Reef is capable of making the frame on his best form but Capitol Gain will find today's conditions very different on the back of a second over 1m2f at Newbury.
