A disappointing turnout for the opening race on the Epsom card with just the six runners declared to face the starter. Included amongst them are a couple of newcomers, the best of which on breeding looks like being the Terry Mills-trained Geoffstar. However, this really should go to one of those with racing experience. Of them Simon Dow's Spinning Jenni, who is rated 67, was only third in a seller last time and is becoming expensive to follow. More solid claims are held by Michael Bell's And Toto Too. The daughter of Averti went down by the narrowest of margins to Maunby Rocker in a Carlisle maiden last month and should again be thereabouts but the one they all have to beat and the TEAMtalk selection has to be Goodwood Prince. John Dunlop's colt has shown promise on both starts so far, in maidens at Goodwood and Newmarket, and with improvement to come he looks the pick of the sextet.
