      Verdict

      There was cut in the ground when MYTHICAL MADNESS won over track and trip last week. He may well defy a 4lb penalty in this and confirm running with Ascraeus. The latter had won on fast going earlier but Platinum Prince placed in soft ground at Lingfield last time albeit over a longer trip. Maykir will appreciate the return to a mile but Regulator is now 6lb higher than when successful at Chepstow last month.
