ASHPAN SAM is penalised for last week’s course and distance success but is at his best here and is taken to confirm latest running with Farleigh Mac and Highland Acclaim. Pettochside won over 5f at Salisbury last time and an apprentice’s allowance negates a 5lb rise while Swiss Cross has won over track and trip before though both of this year’s wins have been recorded in Jersey. Monumental Man does his winning on the all-weather nowadays and Tavener is proving best over 7f.
