Verdict

TAPIS LIBRE and Joanna Mason teamed-up to win last year’s renewal. They arrive on the back of landing one of these events at York and should go close again. Duke Of Yorkshire won over 1m4f under today’s amateur at Wolverhampton last year and is preferred to Whinging Willie, who is 9lb higher than when scoring at Brighton last term. Croquembouche is not badly weighted but is hard to win with nowadays while Silver Quay went close over 2m last time and makes most appeal of the remainder.
