First-time cheekpieces worked the oracle for Raven Banner at Doncaster last time and she romped home for an easy win. But she’s been raised 12lb for that success while Dangerous Ends has been raised 4lb after scoring at Windsor in May. The placed horses have both subsequently won so the latter can figure again but ASHAZURI is just preferred. The latter won over today’s trip on the Turf course at Lingfield last time and Jonathan Portman’s filly was placed at this track last year. Bayston Hill also won at Lingfield back in May and makes more appeal than Top Beak and Triple First in this grade.
