        Verdict

        Couldn't Could She won at Windsor last month and is taken to confirm running with the runner-up Juneau. The latter has subsequently scored at Haydock and carries 6lb extra but BERKSHIRE SPIRIT can race off the same mark as when narrowly beaten at Brighton last week. He should handle the undulations of this track on that evidence and Andrew Balding’s colt get the vote. The unexposed Bossiney Bay makes moat appeal of the remainder now handicapping for the first time.
