Although the Ed Dunlop yard have been enduring a torrid run of form this season, Atheer gave a hint of better things to come on his debut run at Doncaster last month. He ran very green in the early stages but finished with a real flourish, eventually finishing less than a length behind a very useful sort from the Mick Channon camp. Ethos has also shown ability and should be able to find a race in time. However, Resplendently and Dark Shah hail from in-form yard and throw a real spanner in the works - any support from the ring for either could prove to be significant, however.
