In depth

Verdict

COSMOS RAJ finished well ahead of the disappointing favourite Model Actress when scoring at Newmarket earlier and missed out on a hat-trick when runner-up in better company than this at Headquarters last time. David O’Meara’s charge can return to winning ways. Dark Company is creeping closer having placed at Brighton recently but Mercurius Power returned a beaten favourite at Salisbury having won at Chepstow in July. Mutaraafeq is fitted with headgear after placing over track and trip on his first start for new connections and could be in the mix.
