    Verdict

In this maiden contest, Paintbox looks to hold a very good chance ahead of possibly Native Turk Sian Thomas and Tadawul. The selection was fourth at Windsor last time behind Sea Nymph, who has gone on to frank the form by running well next time out. In truth, her form rates at around the mid 70s, but that should be more than enough to feature here, and there are no doubts about her at the trip. Native Turk stepped up on previous form to finish second last time, but that run came on Southwell's all-weather and the form looks no more than modest. Turning to the others, Tadawul showed enough on her debut behind Hermitage Court to be given a solid chance and Sian Thomas, from the Marcus Tregoning stable, should be watched for in the betting, but Sachin seems to have lost his way of late. Overall, though, for the winner, we return to Paintbox.
