Verdict

Blue Cup was unlucky in-running behind VICTORY CHIME here in April and is 5lb better off. But David Menusier’s charge is still 15lb higher than when scoring at Sandown last summer and has disappointed since at York. Ralph Beckett’s six-year-old thrives on turning tracks and is 2-2 around here. He can confirm running with Sky Defender and go in again. Dream With Me is 3-4 this season but will have to prove himself in this higher grade having gone up another 7lb. HMS President should confirm Windsor running with Water's Edge while Data Protection holds Lawn Ranger on Chester form and both have each-way claims. Kaleidoscopic looks best of the rest.
