In depth
Verdict
Sufi inched home over course and distance three starts ago but has since been comfortably beaten both under his penalty and on the Flat. Jalwan showed some promise on his second run over timber but needs to take a major step forward to contend. Something was clearly amiss with Peaked Too Soon when pulling up at Exeter in mid-February and he's better judged on two promising bumper runs. However, Philip Hobbs appears to have found a gilt-edged opportunity for CAMPROND on the back of a tremendous run when third in the Grade 3 Swinton Hurdle behind Copperless, form which sets the standard here by some way.
