In depth

Verdict

Jawaab can land this at the expense of Recruit and Al Raahi. The Ed Dunlop colt can improve from his debut performance at Lingfield where he looked very green in his attitude. He is a nicely bred individual and although he finished nearer last than first on his debut improvement is on the cards. Recruit was not disgraced at Goodwood last time out when finishing in mid division. He again can improve so has to be on the short list. Al Raahi was only beaten three quarters of a length at Ayr last time out. He has shown improvement in each run even though it is taking time for the penny to drop so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Jawaad.
