The Hannon team has a rich history in this race though this would be a big step up in class for Silencer having been turned over at Salisbury. Commander Straker made no mistake when backed off the boards at Bath and can go well here but William Buick was aboard LEGEND OF XANADU when Mick Channon’s colt won at Redcar and this race looks to have been very much in the handler’s thoughts. Eve Johnson Houghton looks to have a decent crop of juveniles this term and Blatant made all to comfortably land a prize at Leicester. Keep Bidding receives a fillies allowance and went into many notebooks at Nottingham.
