        Verdict

        Swiss Cross comes alive around here and won this last year off a 6lb higher mark. He had Iseemist and Hopes N Dreams behind when fourth to Ashpan Sam over course and distance at the Derby meeting and seems sure to give another good account, despite a couple of poor performances since. MUNFALLET looks worth sticking with, however, after a decisive win at Hamilton. He's gone up 6lb but trip and ground are ideal and he seems to get on well with 7lb claimer Hector Crouch. Shingle is climbing the weights but running well and has to go on the short-list but Desert Command may be a few pounds too high after his win at Salisbury. Supplicant is eased in grade and has tumbled down the handicap and will probably pop up sooner rather than later.
