Escape Route was green as grass ten days ago when a beaten favourite but we will give him a chance to redeem himself. Mofarij and Heroes go on the shortlist. The selection won well on debut and should have won last time out but for finding plenty of traffic problems. Robert Havlin rides today and he can get his head back in front. The ground is a bit of a worry as this is the softest that he has encountered so far. Annemasse is very consistent and only found the impressive Tobosa too good six days ago. Mofarij should have benefited from his first run of the season when disappointing, however this could be the weekend that Godolphin hit top form and he shouldn't be ruled out of calculations. Heroes won on soft ground last year so must have a great chance if handling the contours of this track, especially as he may have come on for that run at York where he showed up well for a long way. Opera Music and Howya Now Kid are two more for consideration however we will stick with Escape Route as our idea of the winner.
