Elusive In Paris has been running poorly on Turf but is much better here. He hasn't won for some time but is handicapped accordingly. Danseur De Feu hasn't won since scoring here last November but has run reasonably and is nicely handicapped if near her best. The Dancing Lord has been raised 6lb for last week's victory where he would have been more convincing but for being stopped in his run so he must be a threat with Robbie Downey's claim a plus. But Merry Mast, who gave trouble at the start and was slowly away that night, ran on very strongly and it would be no shock if he reversed the form under stronger handling. MAMMA ROSA doesn't have much experience on the track but can run from a 5lb lower mark than on Turf. She's effective from 6f to a mile and looks well enough treated to gain her first success on the surface.
