Fairylike has gone over the ratings band after being raised 2lb for her recent success which came over a mile, a massive drop from her previous run over double that distance. After several near-misses, MONA BROWN finally came good in a maiden in November and was tackling a handicap for the first time when beaten the following month. The lack of a recent run won't be a problem and she looks another for the Bolger yard. Wrekin Rock was having only his second start on the surface when scoring last week when General Bunching, who wasn't far behind, was conceding 4lb. Lonan made a promising debut in November and put the experience to good use a month when landing a course and distance maiden easier than the narrow margin suggests.
