The improving Toberton landed a claimer before being caught on the line over the track and trip by Relay, who has since found 1m3f much too far when behind tonight's rivals Sharjah, Desiderata and MISSISSIPPI JOHN. A close inspection of that event showed the latter to be travelling best of all until his stamina gave out and he's given the nod to reverse the form and take this. Strapless represents Jim Bolger and is making her debut on the surface. She had fair form on Turf last summer and with her stable flying has to be on the short-list.
