In depth

Verdict

Supernovae was twice beaten over this trip when odds-on before a poor run when dropped back to 1m2f at the Curragh and doesn't look one to rely on. The latter event was contested by three of today's entries who occupied the minor positions. Ansgar attempted to make all and beat off the challenges of all but the winner while Place Vendome plodded on at one pace into third. POWER TO PLEASE stayed on best of all into fourth and, with this longer trip certain to suit, she can turn the tables and take this. Civil War ran well over the C&D last time and should make further progress but Faanan Aldaar has been well beaten when strongly fancied recently though she's only raced on testing ground. Knight Of Bangkok has run well here in the past and is another to consider in a competitive maiden.
