Jeangeorges won a similar race to this here a year ago but is 10lb higher after landing a claimer on the sand at Laytown last time. Maundy Money has the form for this but has a poor record on Polytrack having been placed just once in 10 starts while Elusive Award has a very moderate strike-rate of 2-34, though one of those victories came on this track. Love Nest went up 6lb for his victory here last month and has struggled off that mark while the front-running Dream Applause, who scored over 7f at Laytown two weeks ago, was well beaten on his only start beyond that trip. Bendzoldan suffered in the weights after her mid-summer hat-trick so a chance is taken with THAT'S PLENTY. Pat Shanahan's colt has only had five races, including when narrowly beaten by the useful Caprella here last October. He's run just three times this year and has shown enough to suggest he could be well enough handicapped to spring a surprise.
