Wither Hills dropped back to 1m2f to score here three weeks ago and is equally effective over tonight's trip, though this looks a tougher race. Alnahar, who finished a close third, is slightly better off at the weights and has a fair chance of reversing the form. Carried has been going well without winning and Pru Dobbs tries him in a visor while Poitin stayed on strongly to land a handicap over shorter last month and, with just 3lb extra to contend with, has to be on the short-list. Whatever It Takes is 10lb higher than his last winning mark but ran very well behind Ancient Sands last time and a repeat would see him go close. BROSNAN doesn't win often but is generally consistent and, with Donagh O'Connor's claim to aid his cause, can reward support in a tight handicap. Temasek Star has completed a course and distance double this month but has had to battle hard and another 5lb rise may prevent a hat-trick if getting a run from his reserve spot.
