The consistent Relevant Range ran his race again behind the odds-on Dabana last week but Expound, who was making his debut on the surface after two poor runs over hurdles, was less than a length behind and El Campeador a close fourth. Richard Hannon couldn't find a race for Mr Stanley but he's joined Denis Hogan, who is certain to place him to good effect.
