Rocky Dreams has won five times here though never over a trip this far but all of Mulgrave's four course victories have been over the trip. The latter is in excellent form but has been raised 17lb for his two recent successes. Ransom is also on a hat-trick having returned from a break to score with a bit in hand last month. He'll be racing from 10lb higher with his rider claiming 2lb less this time and he was previously beaten half-a-length into fourth behind PIERRE LAPIN over the track and trip with the weights favouring the latter, who has continued in fine form. Beautiful Sunshine has mainly raced at a much higher level though makes her all-weather debut while Miss Mirabell was highly tried after landing a Gowran maiden in May and made a very promising track debut in December.
