LIGETI (NAP) was having only his fifth start when scoring narrowly, though with a bit in hand, over a mile last week. He's been raised 8lb and has further to travel but looks better than a 63-rated handicapper and can complete a quick double. Cristy's Call has won twice over hurdles and ran very well behind War Goddess over 1m4f last time so this could prove on the sharp side. Ciankyle is another winning hurdler who probably needs further but Free State, who stayed on strongly to lead right on the line over the course and distance early last month, didn't appear to last out when tackling a longer trip next time. Alterno is a winning hurdler who has plenty of weight for what he's achieved on the Flat.
