Sharjah, though not the one of the same name who beat Faugheen at the weekend, has a brilliant record around here having won nine times on the track and he's on his lowest mark since his victory in April of last year. Syndicate won at Southwell for Ralph Beckett and again for new connections at Ffos Las in September so he's capable of a big run as is Carried, who was beaten a length in this last year from a 6lb higher mark. California Lad is another who goes well here and was in the lead at this trip before succumbing to Touch Of Gold over 1m4f a fortnight ago. TOO PRECIOUS hinted at ability before landing a course and distance handicap earlier this month then followed up under a penalty two days later.
