It's rare to find one of Jim Bolger's having half-a-dozen starts without winning but that's the case with MONA BROWN. She's having her first start at this track tonight but her overall form suggests she can finally lose that maiden tag. Rock Magic has improved with each run and wouldn't need much more progress to take this. Her latest effort behind Al Mancilia here points to her chances and she looks the main threat. Diamond Daze has now gone 18 starts without winning but she has by no means been running badly including in handicaps and it would be a surprise if she wasn't involved in the finish. Eretara may prove best of the remainder.
