In depth

Verdict

Willie McCreey can't buy a victory for September Lily and steps her up to this trip for the first time. Her overall form is strong enough and she performed with credit on her only start on the surface so should be in the shake-up again. EPIC ENCOUNTER is also proving difficult to win with but there was nothing wrong with his recent close second to Qasser at Cork and that form looks good enough for this. Benbecula ran in the Tattersalls Millions for William Haggas after three decent runs on Polytrack. He's now with Tommy Carmody who will be anxious to get him off to a winning start. Attire made a promising debut here in May and didn't reappear until last month so with that run under her belt she's on the short-list.
