Verdict
THE LUTE PLAYER (NAP) has taken time to find his form but looked progressive at Gowran and an opening handicap mark of 81 may prove lenient. His stable also run Fleet Commander, another lightly-raced type who produced a much-improved run at the Curragh last month. This has been run twice and Joseph O'Brien has won both so Clemmie C, who makes her handicap debut after just three runs, is one to note while Alaroos is progressing well and has been left on the same mark despite winning comfortably at Tramore. Roman Bull looked to have a chance in the 3.10 at Listowel yesterday so that result should be monitored.
