Numidia gained the only victory of his career over a mile here in February but he's run well here and on Turf several times subsequently and has Mads Black Eights behind at Punchestown last week. Romann scored twice here around three years ago but hasn't had much racing subsequently though he's performed with credit on Turf. Deluca Chop is better handicapped on Turf but BLACKSTONE CLIFF won from a 1lb higher mark the last time he raced here in December so gets the nod.
