Vanguard Star has come up against some smart ones in his three races to date but that looks the case again as LOVEJOY (NAP) looked a real speedster at Navan, racing very keenly and making all over that extended 5f on soft ground. She'll improve for the experience and today's track and trip should prove ideal. The stable also run Queen Of Ours, a Sligo maiden winner before well beaten in the Goffs Million over 7f at the Curragh. Midnight Toker is getting closer to winning having gone down by a head at Fairyhouse but Escaping Thejungle looks more of a threat having beaten subsequent winner Polar Bear easily at Bellewstown with Reinforce back in third. Wakai Umi landed a nursery at Naas then found a 9lb rise and softer ground too much to handle at Down Royal.
