Verdict

Infiniti has found a new lease of life this year and won five times on the Flat including at Pontefract last time. But GOLDEN SHOT (NAP) is progressive three-year-old having won over 1m6f on both outings so far this year. There’s likely more to come over this longer trip and Sir Mark Prescott’s charge gets the vote. Hackberry went close over track and trip recently while Scottish Dancer was beaten only a neck here in August and Spantik arrives on the back of a good effort over hurdles.
