The veteran Usa is more likely to be found over fences than the Flat but ran an excellent race when just failing to catch Elusive Approach over the course and distance a fortnight ago. The front-running QUELUZ has yet to win but has been leading for most of the way over longer trips and hopefully will have enough pace to hang on this time. Tom Dooley seems better over 7f but Our Max has been running well enough to get into the action and is very well handicapped on the all-weather compared to his Turf rating. Lady J only joined Dermot Weld recently and made a promising start for the yard at Tipperary last week so she could be on a very lenient mark.
