Joseph O'Brien was seen at his strongest to get Habesh home last week but this is an apprentice race so Colin Keane takes over and he's one of the best young rider's around. A 7lb weight rise won't aid his mount's cause and First Friday looks a better bet having gone up just 3lb for last week's victory and Ana O'Brien able to claim her 4lb allowance. Relying on WELL INSURED to bring home the bacon has proved very costly in the past as he's now gone 33 runs without a victory. However, he was caught right on the line by First Friday last week and if Ray Dawson can hold on to him for a fraction longer this time that elusive first victory could be his. Coach Bombay wasn't far behind in that latter race and looks a threat while Noble Call, who has had almost as many runs as the selection without winning, ran well over hurdles last week and is on a very lowly mark.
