In depth

Verdict

The Dancing Lord did well in the UK but has looked even better since joining John Geoghegan. He's won four races since October and been narrowly beaten in the other two. He was receiving 6lb from BEAU SATCHEL when beaten 3l in October and though the latter hasn't run since later that month he has a big advantage at the weights and must be the selection. Torpedo Alley didn't show much on his debut here a year ago and though he did better a few days later at Gowran the going was very heavy. Adroit scored on fast ground at Gowran in June but hasn't measured up to that kind of form subsequently. Tom Dooley has won twice in 37 starts and has something to find while Delightful Sleep had moderate form for David Evans in the UK and Romantic has only had one run in almost two years.
