Wajaaha was having his first start for Denis Hogan after joining from Godolphin when runner-up to Dawn Trouper over this course and distance last month. He didn't enjoy dropping back in trip last time but was behind CIAO, who was having her first start for Gavin Cromwell. The latter looks as though she has the most scope of the pair and can gain her first success. World Stage was a beaten favourite in his last four starts for Aidan O'Brien last year and has joined John Feane. A long absence is rarely a problem for one from this yard so the market should offer some clues. Black Noah wasn't beaten far in two Turf maidens over this trip before a reasonable run over hurdles, which is where his future lies.
