Reckless Lad has won nine times around here and continued his good form with another fine run last week behind a well-handicapped winner. Georgian Bay was almost two lengths behind him in a claimer earlier but that was over 1m2f and he was in the lead at this trip. MR ORMSBY doesn't have the best of strike-rates but only just failed to hold off the in-form Equitant last month and Gavin Ryan's claim is a bonus here. Kempton winner Goodwood Showman has his first start for new connections and looks on a reasonable mark while the three-year-old Namazee easily won a course and distance handicap in August but couldn't handle a 10lb rise at Gowran a couple of weeks later.
