      Verdict

      COMMANDER WON was possibly a bit unfortunate not to catch Nimitz over the course and distance and made amends when beating that rival on a return visit a fortnight ago. There's little between them again on these terms but the former is handed the vote to confirm the form and take this. Echo Park went up 10lb for an easy victory at Sligo then beat all-bar Rovetta in a tough handicap at the Curragh. She's on the upgrade and should get into contention while Arthurian Fame couldn't handle 1m6f and testing ground at Gowran on Monday and makes his all-weather debut. Tirmizi hasn't recaptured last year's form but Schoolboy Error is respected as he won here last month before a fair run in a big field at Cork.
