Verdict
Connections of Almadaa won't be pleased with a 6lb rise for being beaten a short-head by Grey Danube over the C&D last month and the five-year-old is now on his highest mark on his 40th start. Topadee has never raced over the minimum trip but he's showed very good pace in the past and is well drawn. Bonnie Acclamation is another who does his running over further but Calm Bay and Copper Dock fought out a finish over the C&D in July and there should be little between them. CANDLEHILL GIRL has only raced three times on the surface but has steadily improved. She didn't seem at home on soft ground last time and her two previous efforts on this track point to her chance this time.
