Brokopondo was brought wide and late to snatch the spoils over the track and trip last month and with Donagh O'Connor again in the saddle a 5lb rise may not be insurmountable. Angel's Gift finished a close fourth and as that was only his sixth start he can get much closer. TEMASEK STAR scored here in September and made a bold bid to follow up the following month after an 8lb rise but just came up short. The assessor has relented by dropping him 2lb and he can go in again.
