Sharp Defence made his debut in a big field over 7f at Leopardstown and showed good pace before fading close home. He looks certain to go well as does Guardia Svizzera, who didn't look suited by testing ground at Naas and is related to a couple of all-weather winners. Meetyouatthemoon ran out of steam when attempting to make all over 7f here last month but Guiding Star has shown promise for Henry Candy and has joined Johnny Murtagh. DUPLICATION cost 165,000 euros and is by the Flying Childers winner Requinto, who has done very well with his first season runners. He could be better than this and gets the nod though another newcomer, Fingallian, is by Street Cry and related to several winners.
