Several of these ran in the race here a week ago won by Hawkswood. The winner had previously been disappointing but did nothing wrong and the handicapper has only raised him 4lb. Third-placed Word For Word once again found little and a strike-rate of 1-25 tells its own story but COACH BOMBAY, who started favourite, appeared undone by exaggerated waiting tactics and can gain compensation as he looked very progressive when scoring a few days earlier. Lupa Montana and Petit Roque were well beaten but Zero Euro has run two decent races over a mile here recently and the longer trip is likely to suit. Rayhani, four times a winner on the Flat, has been racing over fences and may not have the pace for this nowadays.
