In depth

Verdict

Several of these could do with another furlong but not GREY DANUBE, who scored over the C&D last month. That was his first start in a handicap and he attracted some support so a 5lb rise doesn't look excessive and he's taken to complete the double. Harry Trotter deserved his victory over Atticus Finch in January and the runner-up has won subsequently but the handicapper has taken no chances with him and he was behind Slim Chance when the latter made a winning debut at Down Royal last July. Choral Society has never run over a trip this short but Khaos made a winning debut over the C&D in September and competed at a much higher level later. He's definitely one to watch with his rider's claim a bonus.
