Northern Surprise was winning for the first time in three years when gaining a surprise victory a fortnight ago and looks the type to follow while in form. He holds fifth-placed Tynamite and the seventh Above Us Only Sky as both looked to have every chance. Crossingoz was in the lead at this trip when tackling an extended 1m2f on the same card but the lightly-raced SUNTORY TIMES looks the one to beat. Sarah Lynam's charge has had only had five runs and it's the latest, when second to Alwarda last month, that puts him right in the picture.
